The US
secretary of state John Kerry has said that militants are trying to destabilize
the region and undermining the democratic process going on in Iraq.
Although he admitted that the US is in touch with the tribal
leaders in Anbar province who are supporting those terrorists. But he reiterated
that US is firm on not returning to Iraq.
He called this as ‘Iraq’s fight’ and US will help them
to win and US will help them to win as well. These comments came after Iraq the Iraq military
unleashed an air strike on Anbar province which killed at least 34 people.
In another event a series of bomb explosions also killed 20
people in the Shi’ite neighborhoods of Baghdad.
The insurgency has been on the rise in Iraq since US withdrawal and Kerry
has also shown his ‘deep concern’ over that.
Video of the last night’s air strikes on Anbar was also
released by the Iraqi defense ministry which shows that some of the Al-Qaeda
hideouts are being bombarded in the dark.
The press release from the Iraq’s defense ministry has said
that air force stuck a militant hideout on Saturday night which belong to the
Al Qaeda. The government refers them as ‘terrorists’.
