The White House has fought back yesterday against the former
Pentagon chief Robert Gates’ direct criticism of the President, Barack Obama’s
war leadership and damning of his deputy Joe Biden.
Robert Gates, who was in a senior national security job and
has served six presidents has given very shocking comments regarding
assessments of the Obama regime in his new book.
One of the accusations is on Joe Biden, who as per Gates is
wrong about every foreign policy issue for decades and he has also alleged
Obama for losing faith in his own troops fighting in Afghanistan.
White House responded these allegations by saying that the
President was expected, such constructive criticism of his policies since he has
picked a so-called ‘team of rivals’ during his first term as a president of the USA.
This also forced the White House to serve a rare moment
where press photographers were invited into Obama’s weekly lunch with Biden in
the private dining room off the Oval Office to show unity.
The White House spokesman Jay Carney told the press that,
“As a senator and as the Vice President, Joe Biden has been one of the leading
statesmen of his time.”
“He has been an excellent counselor and adviser to the
president for the past five years.” Jay Carney added.
