NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) confirmed the death of 3 persons during cyclone storm Phailin on indian east coast. Inspector Sandeep Rai Rathore NDRF of India said that "They received reports of three deaths from the villages around Ganjam district in Odisha".
More than 129,000 people from Andhra Pradesh state and 450,000 people from Odisha were evacuated to the safe passages by Indian army forces.
It has been reported last night that, "Cyclone Phailin might hit the areas of the ganjam and gopalpur in Odisha and srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh."

While talking to the press reporters National Disaster Response Force chief Krishna Chowdhary said that "The NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) teams had already started the rescue operations as soon as the velocity of the rain and the wind came down."
"Around 12,000 personnel are deployed in Odisha and 600 in Andhra Pradesh," Chowdhary added that.
Although, many flights and trains are either cancelled or diverted. Transport system is crippled in odisha and Andhra Pradesh due to Cyclone Phailin landfall.
